Meta ads · Facebook and Instagram · New Zealand

Facebook ads for New Zealand businesses.

OneAdsphere runs Facebook and Instagram advertising for New Zealand businesses whose buyers have not started searching. We turn out fresh creative constantly, pit it against the current best ad each week, capture enquiries through instant forms or your own landing pages, and get every lead a reply while your ad is still on their mind. Ad accounts, CRM, automations and dashboards are set up in your name. There is no rate card: management is scoped, then quoted in NZD plus GST, before work begins.

The short answer

Meta ads show your offer to New Zealanders on Facebook and Instagram before they go looking for it. We produce and test the creative, build the lead forms, connect the leads to your CRM and follow them up quickly. Management is quoted in NZD plus GST; if you would rather pay per result, the Pickup System is $150 + GST per confirmed appointment.

Why Facebook and Instagram

Nobody searches for a thing they have not seen yet.

Facebook and Instagram flip the usual order. Instead of waiting to be found, you put an idea in front of people who resemble your buyers, and Meta’s ad delivery picks out those most likely to act. That suits anything New Zealanders rarely search for until they have seen it: a battery for the panels already on the roof, a townhouse off the plan in Hobsonville, a bach renovation, a second bathroom.

Search

The buyer comes to you

Strong intent, limited numbers: you only reach the people who type the words. Our Google Ads page covers that side.

Feeds

You go to the buyer

You can reach far more people as budget rises, but they are at the start of deciding. The ad needs to filter, and the call back needs to be quick.

Ad creative

The ad finds the audience now, so we make plenty of them.

On Meta the creative does much of the targeting: the hook, the face, the first few seconds. We produce talking-to-camera and short vertical video, single images and carousels, with local faces, places and voices where they fit, and give each one a fair test before it is judged.

Talking-to-camera video

A real person explaining the problem you solve, shot on a phone so it sits naturally in the feed, and always posted as an ad from your page.

Vertical short-form

Cuts for Reels and Stories that make sense on mute and land the offer inside the opening seconds.

Single images

One image carrying one idea and one line of copy. Fast to produce and test, and simple to swap when results start to slide.

Carousels

Swipeable frames for finished projects, floor plans, ranges or before-and-after pairs, when a single picture is not enough.

UGC-style never means disguised. The ASA’s Advertising Standards Code says content controlled by the advertiser must not be disguised as something other than an advertisement, so every video runs from your page as an ad, and customer stories appear only with written permission given in advance.

Weekly testing

Each week, a challenger takes on the current winner.

A campaign leaning on one tired ad gets dearer week by week. Ours run a loop instead: make new ads, test them against the control, keep whatever wins.

  1. Round 1

    Trace sales back to ads

Start from the appointments and sales in your CRM and work back to the ads that produced them, not to the cheapest clicks.

  2. Round 2

    Brief the challengers

New hooks, offers and people on camera, informed by what is working, what is wearing out, and what rivals are running in Meta’s public Ad Library.

  3. Round 3

    Run the head-to-head

Each challenger runs beside the current best ad, the control, with enough budget for an honest result.

  4. Round 4

    Retire or replace

Weak ads are paused. Any challenger that beats the control replaces it, and the following week starts the cycle again.

Lead capture

Two places a lead can land, and how we choose.

An instant form keeps people inside Facebook or Instagram; a landing page brings them to your site. Each has a job, so the choice is made campaign by campaign, often by testing the pair.

In the app

Instant forms

Nothing to load and contact details pre-filled, so more people finish. Set up to protect quality:

  • The Higher intent form type from Meta, adding a screen where people review their details before sending
  • One question answered in the person’s own words
  • Consent wording for later texts and emails, drafted for the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act
  • A link to your privacy policy and a short line on why the details are needed and who gets them
  • Suited to straightforward offers such as an appraisal, a call back or a quote
On your website

Landing pages

Space to make the case, full control of the questions, and an asset you keep, from the people who build our websites:

  • For bigger decisions that need proof, pricing or a gallery
  • Branching questions that sort enquiries before they hit your CRM
  • Meta pixel plus Conversions API, so Meta sees what happens after the click
  • Built for phones, with the form and call button never far away
  • Consumer prices shown GST-inclusive

Two reasons to connect your CRM from the first day. Meta keeps lead data available for download for up to 90 days after a form is sent, and recommends downloading often or using a CRM so you do not lose access. And for its qualified leads performance goal, built to reach higher-quality leads, Meta recommends connecting your CRM so it receives information about how your leads progress.

Speed to lead

Reach each lead in the minute after they enquire.

Someone who filled in a form between videos has a short memory for your ad, so the first contact matters most. Our speed-to-lead add-on from First Voice rings new Facebook leads typically within 60 seconds, during the calling hours you set, qualifies them and books the appointment. For a nationwide NZ solar company we marketed, every lead was contacted in under a minute, and its lead-to-appointment rate rose from 44% to 88% in nine months (read the case study).

  • Only people who asked for contact through your form are called
  • No calls to competition entrants to sell them something else
  • Texts and emails need consent, name your business and honour opt-outs within five working days
  • Every lead, call and result logged, so ads are judged by appointments
Rules that apply here

What New Zealand law and Meta policy ask of your ads.

Two sets of rules sit over every campaign: Meta’s own policies for certain industries, and New Zealand law on advertising claims, marketing messages and personal information. We work through both before launch.

Special ad categories

Campaigns touching jobs, housing, financial products and services, or social issues, elections and politics must be flagged as a special ad category when they are created, Meta says, and flagging one can narrow your audience options. We set it at the start.

Credit, loans and insurance

Under Meta’s advertising standards, credit cards, loans and insurance can only be advertised to people 18 and over. Meta may also ask advertisers to prove regulator authorisation where that applies, and expects the disclosures the law requires.

The Financial Advertising Code

The ASA’s Financial Advertising Code asks for a high standard of social responsibility, rules out puffery and hyperbole in financial claims, and covers content from influencers and other creators too. Advisers’ ads are written to it.

Testimonials and reviews

Under the ASA code a testimonial needs written permission in advance and must be genuine, current and typical of what customers get, and the Commerce Commission says reviews must be genuine and shown in a way that does not mislead. Customer stories in your ads meet both.

Texts and emails after the form

The Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act needs consent before a marketing text or email, the sender clearly named, and an unsubscribe honoured within five working days. A reply to someone who asked for a quote is not treated as a commercial message; the marketing that follows it is.

The Privacy Act 2020

Its principles govern how organisations and businesses collect and use personal information. Under principle 3, when you collect details from someone you take reasonable steps so they know why, who will receive them, whether giving them is optional and what happens if they do not.

Ownership
The ad account, the page and the leads stay yours.

Ad accounts, CRM, automations and dashboards are set up in your name. We work in your Meta ad account through access you grant, next to your own Facebook page and Instagram account, so the audiences, pixel data and leads built up there stay with your business if you ever move on.

Pricing

Pricing Meta ads management in New Zealand.

Three things set the scope: the volume of creative, the number of offers and regions, and how leads get handled. So there is no fixed fee. A free call gets you a written scope and a price in NZD plus GST, agreed before work starts.

FAQ

Meta advertising questions from NZ businesses.

Not covered? Ask on the call. If Facebook and Instagram are the wrong home for your budget, we will tell you.

What will a Facebook ads agency actually do for us?

Plan the campaigns, make and test the ads, build the instant forms or landing pages, set up tracking, see that every lead is contacted quickly, and report what your spend produced. We do that across Facebook and Instagram, in an ad account in your business name, and measure it on appointments and sales, not likes.

What does it cost to have Meta ads managed in NZ?

It depends on scope: the creative you need, the offers and regions involved, and how leads are handled. You get a written quote in NZD plus GST before work starts, standalone or inside the Growth Partner. To pay per result instead, the Pickup System is $150 + GST per confirmed appointment, with the ad spend funded and managed by us.

Do you run Instagram ads too?

Yes. One campaign can reach Facebook and Instagram feeds, Stories and Reels, and we size the creative for each. Where your buyers lean towards one app, that app gets the budget.

Which converts better, an instant form or a landing page?

Forms inside the app usually win on volume because they are so quick; a landing page wins on explanation and filtering. Meta’s Higher intent form is our usual start for simple offers: it adds a confirmation screen, and Meta shows it only in Facebook and Instagram feeds on mobile. Considered purchases get a landing page, and we test one against the other when it is close.

How do you stop junk leads from Facebook?

Speed is the catch: a form that takes three taps also attracts people who barely meant it. We slow the wrong people down with the Higher intent form and a question that needs a typed answer, ring genuine leads fast, and feed CRM outcomes back to Meta. More in our guide to filtering fake Facebook leads.

Can you call our Facebook leads automatically?

Yes, through our speed-to-lead add-on, typically within 60 seconds during the calling hours you set. The Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act covers texts and emails rather than phone calls, but consent wording, honest AI disclosure and opt-outs are built in anyway. We do not call competition entries to sell something else: the Commerce Commission says contact made that way can make a sale an uninvited direct sale.

When does a campaign count as a special ad category?

When it is about jobs, housing, financial products and services, or social issues, elections or politics. Meta requires that to be declared at setup. Separately, credit card, loan and insurance ads may only target people aged 18 and over.

Will you promise a cost per lead?

No. Your offer, the market, the time of year and the creative all move it, and the Commerce Commission expects any claim to have reasonable grounds when it is made. We agree the measures up front and show you the real figures weekly.

Can we use customer reviews in our ads?

Yes, with care. The ASA code says a testimonial needs written permission in advance and must be genuine, current and representative of the typical customer, and the Commerce Commission says reviews must be genuine and not presented in a misleading way. We only use ones you can document.

If we leave, what do we keep?

Everything. Ad accounts, CRM, automations and dashboards are set up in your name. Your Facebook page, Instagram account, audiences and leads remain yours. Because Meta only keeps lead data downloadable for up to 90 days, forms are wired to your CRM from day one.
