Two Wellington garage door companies. More than 1 in 4 calls came outside business hours, and 1 in 8 on a weekend: calls that would otherwise have gone to voicemail. First Voice answers for both companies, day and night, takes the caller’s name, number, address and what’s wrong with the door, and passes every enquiry to the team.

How we know
  • How First Voice counted: Figures from First Voice’s own call records. Business hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, NZ time. Appointments are counted only where the booking system confirmed the booking. A lead counts as reached when the conversation lasted more than 15 seconds. Client names are withheld. Checked 12 Oct 2026.

I am using FirstVoice to call my leads as soon as they come in from Meta. The potential clients love that I contact them quicker than anyone. I am able to close more deals because I'm the first to them.

How it works

Live in about a week. We do the setup.

No software to learn and no scripts to write. You tell us how your business works; we build the rest.

Step 1

Tell us about your business

A 30-minute call covering your services, prices, hours, service area, FAQs, booking rules and what counts as urgent.

Step 2

We build your receptionist

We set up the voice, greeting and call scripts, load your business knowledge and connect your calendar or software.

Step 3

We test it with you

Test calls together, adjusting the wording until it sounds like your business and handles your common calls.

Step 4

Forward your calls, go live

Forward your existing number or use a new local number. Most businesses are live within a week, and we keep improving it.

Integrations

Works with the software you already use: 168+ apps.

Data and honesty

Your calls stay yours.

Specific and checkable, not a badge.

Where your data goes

Stored in New Zealand by default

  • Recordings, transcripts and summaries are stored in New Zealand on infrastructure First Voice runs itself, or in another region such as Australia if you prefer.
  • During a call the audio is processed in real time by the AI provider that powers the conversation. They don’t keep a copy and don’t use it to train their models.
  • Only you and the people you give a login to can see your call data. It is never sold.
  • Keep recordings from a day up to two years, switch recording off, redact personal details, and export any time.
Honest about AI

Built to hand over when it should

  • If a caller asks, it says it’s an AI assistant.
  • It won’t give medical, legal or financial advice, and directs emergencies to 111.
  • It never asks callers for card numbers.
  • First Voice isn’t separately certified against SOC 2, ISO 27001 or any similar standard, and we won’t imply otherwise.

Questions

Voice AI, answered plainly.

Anything not covered here, ask us on a call, or ask the AI receptionist on 09 875 3924.

What is First Voice?

First Voice (FirstVoice AI) is a New Zealand AI receptionist service that answers business calls 24/7, books appointments into your calendar and calls new leads back typically within 60 seconds, fully set up and managed for you. It launched in 2025, and as of today it is part of OneAdsphere.

What does an AI receptionist do?

It answers your business calls on the first ring, works out what the caller needs, answers questions from your business knowledge, books, reschedules or cancels appointments, flags urgent calls to you straight away and sends you a summary of every call with the transcript and recording.

Does it sound like a robot?

No. It speaks naturally and handles interruptions. Ring 09 875 3924 to hear it yourself. If a caller asks whether they are talking to a person, it tells them it is an AI assistant.

How much does it cost?

First Voice plans are Starter $297 a month, Growth $597 and Scale $997, in NZ dollars, with setup included and no lock-in contract. Speed-to-lead is an add-on from $297 a month on Growth and Scale. For businesses outside New Zealand we confirm pricing in your currency.

Does it work for Australian businesses?

Yes. First Voice works with businesses in Australia, with Australian phone numbers, and can keep your call data in Australia instead of New Zealand if you prefer.

Where is call data stored?

In New Zealand by default, on infrastructure First Voice runs itself, or in another region such as Australia if you prefer. Only you and the people you give a login to can see it, and it is never sold.

How is this different from the Pickup System?

The AI receptionist and speed-to-lead work on the calls and leads you already get, for a fixed monthly fee. The Pickup System also finds the leads: OneAdsphere runs the ads, AI voice calls each lead and you pay per booked appointment.
