The short answer
As of today, First Voice is part of OneAdsphere. First Voice's AI receptionist answers business calls 24/7, books appointments and calls new leads back typically within 60 seconds. Put next to OneAdsphere's ads and websites, it means the enquiries your marketing creates are answered and booked, instead of going to voicemail.

As of today, OneAdsphere and First Voice have merged. First Voice (FirstVoice AI) is a New Zealand AI receptionist service; OneAdsphere is an Auckland marketing agency working with businesses across New Zealand and Australia. OneAdsphere stays the brand, and First Voice is now part of it.
This post explains why the two fit together, what an AI receptionist and speed-to-lead actually do, what First Voice's results show, and how to decide which piece your business needs. The announcement itself is on our news page.
Why marketing and an AI receptionist belong together
Marketing creates enquiries. A good share of them then die on the phone: a call at 7:40pm that rings out, a form filled in at 9pm that nobody calls back until the next morning, a quote request that lands while the owner is up a ladder. The ads did their job; the business never got to have the conversation.
OneAdsphere built the front of that journey: ads, creative, websites and the Pickup System. First Voice built the part where the phone rings. Together, one team is accountable from the first ad to the booked appointment.
What an AI receptionist does on every call
- Answers on the first ring with your business name, 24/7, including public holidays, and up to 20 calls at once.
- Works out what the caller needs and answers questions from your business knowledge: services, prices, hours and service areas.
- Books, reschedules or cancels appointments in your calendar or software, or takes a detailed message.
- Flags urgent calls to you straight away, and on the Growth and Scale plans transfers them live.
- Texts the caller a confirmation and sends you a summary, with the transcript and recording.
It tells callers it is an AI assistant if they ask, won't give medical, legal or financial advice, and never asks for card numbers. See the AI receptionist page for the full detail and a plan finder.
What speed-to-lead does with your form leads
People who fill in a form are often contacting several businesses at once, and the first one to call usually has the best chance. First Voice's speed-to-lead calls new leads from Facebook Lead Ads, website forms and Google Ads lead forms typically within 60 seconds of the lead reaching it, during the calling hours you set. It says up front that it is an AI assistant calling about their enquiry, asks your qualifying questions and books a time.
What First Voice's results show
Two case studies from First Voice's own call records, with client names withheld:
- Garage doors, Wellington (March to September 2026). For two garage door companies, First Voice answered 765 calls in six months, 1 in 4 of them after the office closed. 28% came outside 8am to 5pm on weekdays, 13% on a Saturday or Sunday and 15% between 5pm and 10pm: calls that would otherwise have gone to voicemail.
- Solar, nationwide (September 2025 to January 2026). For a nationwide New Zealand solar company, First Voice called 1,290 new leads within 60 seconds of them enquiring during calling hours, made 2,815 calls to them, reached 6 in 10 of them for a real conversation and booked 366 appointments that the booking system confirmed. Its AI receptionist also answered 119 inbound calls, 41% of them outside business hours (November 2025 to January 2026).
Business hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, NZ time; a lead counts as reached when the conversation lasted more than 15 seconds. The full write-ups are on our case studies page and at firstvoice.co.nz/results.

New Zealand and Australia
First Voice works with businesses in New Zealand and Australia. It can answer on your existing number with call forwarding, or on a new local New Zealand or Australian number. Call recordings and transcripts are stored in New Zealand by default, on infrastructure First Voice runs itself, or in Australia if you prefer. See AI receptionist for New Zealand and AI receptionist for Australia.
What it costs
First Voice's published plans are Starter at $297 a month (200 minutes, about 65 calls), Growth at $597 (600 minutes, about 200 calls) and Scale at $997 (1,500 minutes, about 500 calls), in NZ dollars, with setup included, month to month and no lock-in contract. For businesses outside New Zealand we confirm pricing in your currency. All plans and add-ons are on our pricing page.
What to check before you choose any AI receptionist
- Ring it yourself and ask what a customer would. First Voice's demo line is 09 875 3924.
- Ask where recordings and transcripts are stored, who can see them and how long they are kept.
- Check it says it is an AI if asked, and how urgent calls reach you.
- Check exactly how it connects to your calendar or job software: booking during the call, or only a summary afterwards.
- Ask who writes and updates the scripts when your prices, hours or services change.
